About Me

My name is Kemi, I blog about development in ‘developing countires’ but mainly Africa. My interests are Poverty reduction, Millennium Development goals, the impact of poverty on Well-being, Women empowerment and Gender mainstreaming.

A student at the University of East Anglia, am studying MA International Development. The course has sort of stirred my passion to find out why developing countries actually needs aid. Whose development?

The so called developed countries never venture to a ‘developing country’ soley to come to our aid, there must be something in it for them.

We have to stand and be united but first we African ought to sort out our home front because if we did there wont be the need for some developed country to invade Africa and providing all sort of interventions in the name of modernisation.
